Golden Apples Nay or Yay?

  • These types of money making schemes are not new to us players of ayakashi, we ALL know that cash players are Zynga main objective so dont bother posting if its to complain about that.

-What do you think about the sorta new golden apple idea?

-Do you think zynga has anything to worry about with games like Devil Maker Tokyo?

Comment below and let me know!

    • I do like it, because extra something doesn't hurt. You just have to ignore it and not let it be the main incentive in summoning. The only time I would ever go for just the apples ifs if one of my top 5 most wanted were offered at a reasonable price (not 80). Methinks they might stick old event daemons in there one day though...

    • Another not-free-user friendly idea from zynga..

Well i dun think zynga will care for free players whether they want to play DM or not, but sure they will worry when all the free players spread info n invite their cash players friends to play the new game... In fact I ady persuade 1 of my cash player tagging friends to try DM..we just have to wait for iOS release..

      Hope it answers ^^

    • i dont dislike what zynga offers in the shop, but the cost it's unreasonable. so im disappointed.

    • ^ I think the idea is decent but the cost is ridiculous, cuz Benmaru ain't worth that. Bella are cheaper and better.

    • I'll like it, only if the golden apples won't expire, the number of golden apples required are reduced, and if Zynga does not do something outrageous like putting old event daemons into it. 80 golden apples are already too much for a Yukimura Sanada even if it's a guaranteed one. So for now, a -1. Well, I don't really care either way. Even if they put Konohanasakuya-hime, Sengen Taisha, or Necromancer (my dream cards from rare summon) in there, I'd never pull a 6-pack just to get them. I'll pull a 6-pack only for events and that's it. The apples will go as incentives much like the free magatama from 6-pack.

    • I honestly don't like it...

...but this.... Well, I'm agreeing with the others here.

      Stuff in shop: Cool.

Cost and Method to Obtain: Absolutely not.

    • It's a concept that caters to the minority - the cash players - and that alone makes it a bad idea. The fact that you need so many apples for one Daemon makes it a horrible idea (minimum $333 spent for 20 golden apple daemon).

Really, the only ones who'll "benefit" from this are the whales of AGG. However, the very definition of whale suggests that they'll already have what's being offered. So to summarize, introduction of Golden Apple is:

      • A kick in the face to free players
      • Small (tiny) incentive to moderate cash players
      • Inconsequential reward for whale players

      It's definitely a "no".

「Might be cool to cash user only, having a little bonus while donating to zynga but the amount of golden apple needed should be rebalance. The amount is crazy to be honest consider how expensive one six packs cost. In addition the timer for the summon should be removed because forking out a huge amount of money will require some time to reconsider about it and being bound by the limited time doesnt help but only driven people to corner.」

「Probably, but it wouldnt last long. Every game is in need of money to keep it running, and the same goes to devil maker. Eventually it will be ruled out by cash if the dev become as greedy as zynga, ayakashi wasnt that bad when it first released but it just get worst as time pass. Eventually users will be ending up choosing which one cost less or better in general. To be honest i am happy if a lot of user migrate or choose devil maker, this will make zynga to come up something to keep the old and existing player to them.」

    • If the system allows us to trade silver apples for a gold,I'll like it.No matter how rich you are,you can't use money to buy a silver apple. Also, you can buy gold apples for $10.That's what I would like. So,I dislike the idea.

    • I'm fine with it. At least now there is a so called "safety net" for people who casually 6 pack summon. Plus there is no downside neither to cash or free players.

    • wellll... if I was a cash user, yes, it is a nice bonus.

but even if I was(I'm not, you see)... I don't think I would do so many summons to get 80 apples... much less 20. perhaps, 20 is the max, and that's still a lot. the amount to exchange the daemons are too much.

obviously, since only zynga is earning from these... updates, more people dislike them, including me(so yes, nay to golden apples!).

    • Those who are willing to spend this much money are already predisposed to getting the top spot on events and getting rare cards to begin with. How will the reintroduction of golden apples affect free players? I don't see any difference, since they do not spend money and are not in an beneficial position compared to cash users to begin with, though it may tempt more free players to spend cash lol.

I am indifferent since I do not spend cash and cash users already have enough fire power to smash my defenses to pieces already, nothing new really,

    • I'm not really gonna spend a lot of money trying to summon great daemons and getting 1 apple each time. If people with a lot of money wish to spent a hell of a lot of money on this game to get cards, feel free, but there'll be a time where people will stop playing this game/the game might be forced to close.

But I agree with Blue August, free player's are pretty much going to lose everytime anyway, because cash players will keep spending money for 5* daemons and items.

    • I really dislike the idea of the whole golden apple thing. I mean you have to spend alot to get golden apples. The golden apples/deamons in Dora's Shop is targeted toward the hardcore cash players, it seems that Zynga needs a money and a whole lot of it.

The whole bell summons, golden apples is making the gap between cash and free players wider.  I am a free player, but I do try to earn gold from downloading apps but it doesn't really help since there aren't that many apps to download and the gold the give is at a max of 20.

As for hardcore cash players have fun spending your money on a virtual card.

    • Absolutely dislike.  I am a casual cash player who goes cashless 99.99% of the time, maybe only spending ~$15 USD on gold to get those last few floors in tower events.  I think that, given these golden apples and the very fact that they are only available in the 6-pack as - based on what I have read - a one-of apiece, this update is only marginally beneficial to the whales.  If Zynga wants to stuff its war chest, then so be it.  But at least increase the apple quantity in the 6-pack or dramatically slash prices.

        Loading editor
    • Dislike. It's a neat idea but the price is outrageous. If they made it a bit more accessible it could actually be a really good thing.

        Loading editor
    • The idea for something to swap for better daemons is good - but this should be obtainable also for free - like one golden apple every month. Free players could get 20 GA in 20 months and swap for a good daemon, while cashers could speed up the process by buying 6-packs. And lower the prices - 80 GA for Sanada is BAD idea. 40 should do - and time limit should also be increased, to maybe 30 days. But as for now - NO. If they change it, I'll be for yes.

I feel it would be a great idea to do this everytime theres a new daemon introduced and removed when the 3x offer ends. ONLY FOR THE NEW FIVE STARs.

This enables people who spammed over 20 packs and never got the card they wanted to trade the apples for the card they want. Yes I have afew friends who spammed over 20 packs for the tanabata daemons but never got them in the end, this apple idea would have been awesome if it wasn't introduced this late.

        Loading editor
    • I admit that I probably only support this because I spammed 300 6packs and didn't get a single daemon I wanted. But I think players who don't care for the apples can just ignore it. Players that would have gotten Yuki for 80 can get bells (or 2 for that money) anyways, considering the price. Basically the same group of OP people.

To be honest,I don't think it's worse than bell, as in not as OP, and for players like me who have the worst luck with summons, I at least get a choice of something. I think giving is always better than not, considering the steep price of summons for players that cash but aren't whales, just they need to give to free players as well, because I'm sure more people don't spend or only spend a little compared to the whales.

Unfortunately now that it comes after I made a pact to never spend again, I'm just sulking in my own misery.

    • im nuetral with this golden apple idea, it gives players who pay alot of money an extra reward but do you only get 1 golden apple every 6 rare summons! I'm a free player and at some points though i really want to daemons that are available for golden apple swaps ;___:

        Loading editor
    • I don't mind them.  It doesn't hurt me at all and provides an extra bonus for the occasional chance I do buy a 6-pack summon.  At least I'm getting something besides most often 3* special summons.

What I'd really like is an option for the little cash users, like a 4* for 5 golden apples.  I'd happily trade those in for a Boeman or Glacie.

    • neutral. the whales can foolishly spend money on those golden apple. for us free players we can happily obtain slightly worse cards but more rewarding than ripping off our wallets

      PEACE
