Bonney, Anne (1697-1720)

Anne Bonny from a Dutch version of Charles Johnson's book of pirates.

Bonnie Anne, or Anne Bonny, was a famous pirate operating in the carribean.  Her name is switched around in this card, because Japanese people usually have their last names first and then their first names.  She had red hair and started out poor.  She married a poor sailor named James Bonny.  She later mingled with pirates and met Captain John Rackham.  She then left James and went away with John Rackham.  She participated in most of the combat with the men, but was later captured.
